The Fraxel re:pair laser combines the tried and true results of the CO2 laser in terms of skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and improvement in sun damage with the safety of a fractional laser device. The family of Fraxel lasers has revolutionized skin rejuvenation laser treatments with their fractional devices. You may recall that this treatment approach involves targeting the skin with microscopic beams of laser energy, resulting in significant collagen remodeling without much risk or downtime.

The Fraxel re:pair laser has taken this technology to the next level. In one treatment, patients can experience significant improvement in deeper wrinkles, acne scarring, tightening lax skin around the eyes or neck, improving sun spots and sun damage. Better yet, we may treat the neck and chest as well (this was not possible with the traditional CO2 devices). Patients may apply makeup as soon as two to three days after treatment and have temporary erythema or redness which is managed with mineral makeup applications for the first few weeks. Some patients may benefit from a combined treatment of Fraxel Restore and the Fraxel re:pair laser to more effectively target specific needs.
